Karly Welch

Karly Welch, the Owner and Director of Precious
Dancers Academy, is a native to the Cypress area.  She is passionate about imparting a worshipful tender heart for the Lord to children, expressed through a love for dance.

Combining her education and experience, Karly has developed a unique, Christ-centered dance program.  Karly has a background in competitive gymnastics, cheerleading, traditional dance and liturgical dance.  She has taught small children within the church and also through other dance programs such as Kinderdance International.  She also holds a degree in biblical studies from Vision International University.

The Fall of 2008 will be her 4th year in business.  She is thrilled to be able to continue to play a role in educating children in the Northwest Houston area.

 

Susan Heaton

Susan Heaton has danced and studied the art of ballet for over 24 years in the Dallas area. In her early years she studied under the legendary Buster Cooper whose famous students include: Patrick Swayze, Sandy Duncan, and Janis Paige. She has also performed at the Southern Methodist University Dance Festival. In Susan's later dance career under Madame Krassovska's direction, she became an advanced dancer, proficient in pointe and the classical form that Russian ballet offers. Susan teaches and expects the highest quality and style from her students. With her vast experience, she is passionate about sharing her love of ballet which offers students dance skills, grace, and poise.
